Prince William County Public Schools are closed Thursday. They posted the following statement:
Those winter storm warnings aren’t going anywhere fast. They’ll stay posted through 5 a.m. Friday as, yes, another round of snow is expected to hit the Mid Atlantic tonight.
An additional two to four inches of snow could fall before 2 a.m., and it’s coming from a another low pressure system making its way north form the Gulf Coast.

The snow that has accumulated overnight shows no sign of stopping, as the National Weather Service has extended the Winter Storm Warning for the region into 5 a.m. Friday.
With accumulations of 12-18 inches in many parts of Stafford County, conditions will continue to be dangerous on roads, and power outages are still expected.
More closings and cancellations as the storm continues throughout the region.

Good morning, the snow that was falling when you went to bed last night kept falling, and it piled up to nearly a foot in some places, if not more. It’s now to the point where we’re wondering if numbers really matter.
As snow falls throughout the region tonight, and into tomorrow, VDOT has issued a release, warning of current hazardous road conditions for drivers.
VDOT is continuing to plow and treat the roads as the snow progresses.
