MANASSAS PARK, Va. — Manassas Park is one of the safest places to live in Virginia, according to real estate blog Movoto.

Editors at the site looked at FBI crime data from 2012 and compared the number of incidents and the population of a given place. The editors looked at towns with 10,000 or more people living there.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Keith Scarborough will return for another three-year term on Prince William County’s Electoral Board.

Appointed the position as head of the Board, Scarborough will work with the county’s Office of Elections and General Registrar Douglas Geib to oversee all voter registration in the county.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — It’s been over a week and there are still few clues in the shooting death of 21-year-old Glenda Marisol Coca-Romero.

Romoero was shot and killed on the evening of Friday, Feb. 21, while working at the Platanillos Grocery store on U.S. 1 in Woodbridge. Another 42-year-old woman working alongside her was also shot causing life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
