Sara M. Grant, 61, of Woodbridge, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 16.

She was born to Ruth and Charles Moore on October 20, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio. Sara graduated from Lakewood High School in 1970 and attended Miami University of Ohio and Roger Williams College in Bristol, Rhode Island. She married Peter M. Grant III on June 23, 1978 in Lakewood, Ohio. They resided in Hawaii, California, Rhode Island, Maine, and Virginia, spending almost 30 years of their lives together in Woodbridge, Virginia.

DALE CITY, Va. — A fire broke out this afternoon at a home 4032 Forge Drive, behind Forestdale Plaza and Cheshire Station shopping center.

Crews were called to the Forestdale neighborhood about 2 p.m. for the fire. Three people were inside when the blaze broke out but were able to escape the flames. A total of seven people – three adults and four children — were displaced, according to initial reports.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A car traveling on Joplin Road hit a tree and burst into flames late Thursday. The driver then jumped out the burning vehicle and fled into the surrounding woods.

Fire and rescue crews were called to mile post 20 on Joplin Road, about three miles south of the Prince William County Public Schools complex, about 9:15 p.m. They found an abandoned SUV fully engulfed in flames.
