HAYMARKET, Va. — The bridge that carries traffic over Interstate 66 at Haymarket will soon be demolished, and the Virginia Department of Transportation wants you to know what their plans are for that stretch of road.

The Harley Davidson of Quantico dealership will host a charity fund raiser poker run called “Nobody Fights [Cancer] Alone,” for 18-year-old Jarrod Hill, who graduated from C.D. Hylton High School in June. Diagnosed last fall, Hill underwent chemotherapy treatments in January and February. He was homeschooled at the time but was later allowed to graduate with his class.

Commercial Burglary – On August 5th at 10:29AM, officers responded to the Sheffield Manor Community Pool located at 12354 Penzance Ln in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00PM on August 4th and 10:00AM on August 5th.
HAYMARKET, Va. – On August 6, a homeowner told police of two separate incidents of burglary where a game console and accessories, as well as multiple watches were stolen by an intruder. According to the report, the intruder entered the home through a basement door.

It’s called The Landing Restaurant at Occoquan Harbour Marina and it will seat 80 guests who will dine on everything from seafood to steaks. Taking advantage of its location on the Occoquan River, the restaurant will also have a waterfront bar.
