A wind chill advisory that was supposed to end at 9 a.m. Friday will be extended until noon. And even then there’s no immediate signs of the cold letting up.

Mark Milligan, 23, had spent a “couple months” in the Prince William County area, according to a Stafford sheriff’s spokesman.
Milligan was shot and killed outside Wings to Go just off Garrisonville Road in North Stafford on Sunday.
On February 14, officers responded to a robbery call at a Metro PCS location in Manassas. The suspect entered the business and showed a handgun to a store employee, demanding money.
Police K-9 units are still searching for the suspect, who fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

This morning, the Prince William Fire & Rescue Department responded to a call for a tent fire on Minnieville Road in Woodbridge. The tent’s occupant, an adult male, was found with second-degree burns on his body. He was airlifted to the Washington Burn Center for treatment.
