The car taxi service Uber is pushing further into the suburbs.
An Uber driver set up shop under a tent at a Silver Diner restaurant on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge on Tuesday to recruit new drivers. In exchange for signing up to drive for Uber, the company agreed to give new recruits a $50 gas card.

On the evening of June 13, Prince William police responded to Bonny Road in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery.
According to Prince William police, the victims – a 20-year old man and a 19-year old man from Woodbridge – stated they were walking on the road when they were approached by three unknown individuals.

As an Ombudsman you will be assigned to visit a local nursing home or assisted living, 4 hrs/week, to ensure that the residents rights are being protected. SERVE has an urgent need for volunteers for two special events. A woman is charged with assault and battery on a police officer. Prince William police were called to a home on Redskin Court in Woodbridge on Tuesday, June 9, and said they saw the suspect, 37-year-old Michelle Bullock get into a car and then try to speed away from police.
