A 20-year-old man was killed in a car crash in Aquia Harbour.
Authorities were called to a crash in the gated neighborhood in Stafford County at 12:02 a.m. Saturday. A car traveling on Aquia Drive had run off the road, hit a telephone, and multiple trees, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

An internal audit of the Prince William County Police Department states the county is not a “sanctuary city.”
A WJLA story posted last month stated County police did not properly notify federal Immigration and Customs (ICE) officials when they come across an illegal alien on the street. The report labeled Prince William County as a haven for illegal immigrants in the Washington area.
Olaun Simmons will serve both the towns of Dumfries and Quantico as the Town Attroney.
Simmons is employed by the Town of Dumfries and is paid a part-time salary of $89,144, according to the town budget. Simmons works 32 hours per week at Dumfries.

Manassas City Police Detective David Abbott was a 16-year ice hockey coach with the Potomac Patriots, a youth team that plays at the Prince William Ice Center in Dale City.
Abbott, a Manassas officer since 2001, turned a gun on himself Tuesday morning and killed himself after police officers came to his home to serve him with a search warrant. Police said Abbott was charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a minor, and that he had inappropriate relationships with two teenage boys.
