Justin Michael Wolfe, whose capital murder conviction and death sentence was reversed amid concerns about prosecutorial misconduct, pleaded guilty to murder in Prince William County on Tuesday, admitting in a handwritten statement that he and another man plotted the 2001 robbery and slaying of a fellow marijuana dealer.

Death Investigation – On March 29 at 4:02PM, officers responded to investigate what appeared to be human remains located in a retention pond in the 7300 Williamson Blvd in Manassas (20109). Officers with the Dive Team are currently working to recover the remains which will be transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further analysis and identification. The identity of the deceased will be released once confirmed and next of kin notified. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
Police identified the man killed Tuesday inside a freezer in the Rienhart Foodservice warehouse on Balls Ford Road near Manassas.

After temporarily closing its doors nearly three months ago, the National Museum for the Marine Corps will re-open to the public on April 1, 2016 at 9 a.m. Visitors will discover a recently restored World War II SBD Dauntless dive bomber and Vietnam-era Sikorsky UH-34D helicopter which were installed during the closure. The Dauntless now hangs from the soaring glass of the Museum’s central gallery, while the UH-34D is positioned in a ground-level display recreating a scene of Marines disembarking under enemy fire.
