Fire crews from Fredericksburg and Stafford County found three people stranded on a rock at 9:25 p.m. The family of two adults and a child used a cell phone to call for help.

Carjacking | Felony Eluding *ARREST– On June 20 around 2:50PM, information was received from a citizen via social media that Jose Neftaly CANALES GRANADOS, who was wanted in connection to a carjacking at the Wal-Mart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge on June 17, was in the area of the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge. When officers arrived, CANALES GRANADOS was located and arrested without incident.

Angela Owens will become principal of Woodbridge Middle School on July 1, according to a staffing update from Prince William County Public Schools.
Owens will leave her job as principal at Gravely Elementary School near Haymarket for the new potion. Skyles Calhoun is the current principal at Woodbridge Middle School.
