North Stafford, Va. — A Yorktown man is behind bars after investigators said he tried to solicit sex in North Stafford.

A Stafford Sheriff’s Office Detective was portraying a 13-year-old girl on the internet when the suspect contacted the detective during the middle of February and made plans to meet at the Hampton Inn hotel on U.S. 1, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

Woodbridge, Va. — Singers from Purdue University will make a stop in the Potomac Communities later this month.

The university’s Glee Club will perform at John Paul the Great Catholic High School’s auditorium at 7 p.m. Wednesday March 14. The school is on 17700 Dominican Drive off River Heritage Drive on Prince William’s Cherry Hill Peninsula near Dumfries.

According to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), of the total TBIs that occur, 75% are concussions or other mild forms of TBI.
