False rumors continue to affect school operations in Stafford County.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — The future of travel to Dulles International Airport will be on display Wednesday night in Manassas.
Virginia transportation officials identified the corridor where a new North-South highway could be built. The area identified was once home to the much talked about Tri-County Parkway that was to link Prince William and Loudoun counties.

QUANTICO, Va. — Pile driving work has begun near the Quantico Marine Corps Base as part of the Interstate 95 Express Lanes Project.
The work is underway near Joplin Road (Exit 150) on I-95. Transportation officials said the pile driving work will support the foundation of a new bridge that will run over Joplin Road.
DUMIFRES, Va. — School officials in Prince William County say don’t be alarmed if you can’t get through to Graham Park Middle School.
The phone lines are not working at the Dumfries school, and officials said Verizon is working to fix the issue.
MANASSAS, Va. — The victims of the Connecticut school shooting were on the minds of about 20 residents and students who converged on the Manassas Museum for a candlelight vigil.
Many of the students were from Manassas’ Osbourn High School, and that gathered at 5:30 p.m. Monday with school instructional aides to voice their sadness and support for the victims at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

DALE CITY, Va. — Police are looking for a man who police said sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl inside of her Dale City home.

Rape – On December 16th at 12:55AM, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau responded to investigate a rape which was reported to have occurred in the 15100 block of Catalpa Ct in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 22 year old woman of Fredericksburg, met the accused online and was at his residence in the above area that evening. While at his residence, the accused raped the victim. After the encounter, the victim went to a nearby fire station where police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
