WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Woodbridge Senior High School’s Choral Department presented their annual Spring Show last month.
Aside from the spectacular costumes and choreography, the Choral Department showed off their talented vocalists as they sang hit songs from Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, All That Jazz, Les Misérables and Hairspray.
QUANTICO, Va. — About a year ago, Petty Officer 2nd Class Joseph Jedding, a religious program specialist at Marine Corps Base Quantico, was trying to come up with a different kind of community outreach event. He had just arrived at the base.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A special agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Prince William County will continue.
The 287 (g) program pairs select members of local law enforcement with federal immigration officials who train them on inquiring about processing the legal statuses of suspected criminals arrested in Prince William County. That program, which was in jeopardy last fall, will continue for the next three years, according to a press release from Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart.
Kelly Marie Wanamaker, daughter of Mr. Charles T. Wanamaker of Point Of Rocks, Md., is proud to announce that Kelly will be will be commencing a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston Massachusetts, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School beginning July 2014.
Kelly is in her final year of General Surgery Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — One man is in custody today after home invasion in Stafford County.
Maury Edward Williams, 18, of Scotts Ford Lane in Fredericksburg, was arrested without incident at 12:43 p.m. in the area of Cardinal Forest Drive and Bellamy Lane in south Stafford County.

Manassas is making an investment in the city’s Old Town area by improving the streetscape along Main Street from the Norfolk Southern Railroad to Quarry Road. I don’t mind paying taxes, I don’t like to pay too much in taxes, and I don’t like to see them wasted. When I see my money being spent to full the broader community’s will, I don’t object. I also like to see my tax dollars spent strategically.
