This past weekend, the Manassas BATtle 7-year old baseball team won the Varina Youth Sports Invitational Tournament.
Their championship was two weeks in the making, as Manassas traveled to the Richmond area two weeks prior only to have the tournament completely rained out.

Beloved husband to Margaret of which they shared 30 wonderful years together; loving father of Roy Jr. (Natalie); Joy; Frankie (Theresa); Charlie (Kelli) and Anthony (Brandy); cherished grandfather of 15; great-grandfather of 4; and dear brother of Judy (Stony) Moore and Jeanie Whetzel. Joan Ann (Adams) Budgeon, 84, formerly of Exeter Township, died in Westminster at Lakeridge Health Center in Lake Ridge, Va., where she called home for the past two years.
She was the wife of Eugene Lee Budgeon who died June 18, 2009.
