Eileen Abigail Williams

Eileen A. Williams of Manassas, VA (Age 64) passed peacefully in her home on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Mother of John Edward Sickel (Kim), beloved Nana to Mason and Ryan; sister of Teresa M. Johnson (Dale) and Grace E. Rosboschil (Joseph); aunt of Sara M. Rosboschil, Cameron D. Creinin (Ben),Matthew Rosboschil (Kathleen) and great aunt of Madison Rosboschil. Also, survived by many cousins and countless friends.

Funeral services will be held at Buckhall United Methodist Church, 10251 Moore Dr. Manassas Va. at 11am on Saturday the 8th of April 2017.

Eileen was born in Arlington, VA in 1952, daughter to the late Harry Edward and Sarah Madge Williams, the middle of three daughters. In her youth, Eileen, a 5 string banjo picker, along with her guitar picking youngest sister sang in a bluegrass band known as the Williams Sisters, which was managed by her beloved father. Eileen started a long career with Arlington County Police Department when she was still in West Springfield High School and ultimately retired in 2002.

She was inspired by her Fireman Father to volunteer for about 30 years as a Firefighter/EMT-P in Prince William County, starting and ending with Buckhall Volunteer Fire Department, as well as working up the ranks to become Chief of the Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department. Upon retiring from actively responding to emergency calls, Eileen joined Training 911 and began teaching EMT to various jurisdictions. After suffering her first heart attack in 1997, Eileen became a Womenheart Champion who sought to educate women and men about heart disease by public speaking and media interviews throughout the nation.
