William George Lawrence Jr

William G. Lawrence, known as "Bill", passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on March 23, 2017, at age 89. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marjorie Brower Lawrence, along with his daughters, Judith Lawrence Bellafaire and Linda Jean Wolstenholme , grandchildren Bethany Gregor, Alyssa Wolstenholme, and Mark Wolstenholme; great granddaughter Kennedy Wolstenholme
Bill was known as a people person and he loved golf, bowling and every sports team in the Philadelphia area. His passion for luxury vehicles included the older Thunderbirds, Cadillacs and Mercedes.
William G. Lawrence faithfully served his country as a member of the U.S. Army Air Forces from November 29, 1945, until May 26, 1947. He worked for the Prudential Insurance Company for 35 years before retiring to Ocala, Florida, where he and Marge enjoyed playing golf, traveling, gardening and participating in church and community affairs. He will be dearly missed by his family, his friends in Ocala and the residents and staff of the Potomac Place Assisted Living Facility in Woodbridge, Virginia.
