MANASSAS, Va. — If you live in Manassas, you could soon see your water discolored on Wednesday.

The City of Manassas Water Department will be performing valve work on the City’s 24-inch water transmission main on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. Customers served by the City along Vint Hill Road in the Fox Chase Community will be without water from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Once the water is back in service, after 5 p.m., some customers may notice discolored water. If this occurs, please run your cold water taps for about 10-15 minutes. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the City’s 24-hour Operations Center at (703) 257-8353.
Please note that the rest of the City’s water service will not be impacted during this time.
