Fauquier County deputies have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old at a Quinceañera near Catlett over the weekend. The arrest came Wednesday following an investigation that began when deputies responded to a noise complaint and found the victim with a gunshot wound.
In Prince William County, a 26-year-old construction worker died after a mobile trailer collapsed on him at a Woodbridge job site. Separate calls brought reports of two men brandishing firearms at a pedestrian in Woodbridge and the theft of an e-bike from a Bristow garage.
Stafford County reports from earlier in the week included two fraud cases and a vehicle vandalism.

Arrest in Homicide Investigation
On the evening of Aug. 8, deputies responded to a noise complaint at a Quinceañera event near Catlett and observed an altercation. They heard a gunshot and found 16-year-old Samuel Ojeda, of Triangle, with a gunshot wound. Deputies performed CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Aug. 12, detectives arrested a 17-year-old male from Dumfries on a juvenile petition and detention order for his involvement. He is being held at a juvenile detention center in Loudoun County. The Prince William County Police Department and Virginia State Police assisted with the arrest. The homicide investigation remains ongoing.

Death at Construction Site
On Aug. 12 at 9:41 a.m., officers responded to a construction site in the 13000 block of Telegraph Road in Woodbridge for an unconscious person. Four workers were on a mobile trailer when its supports collapsed, pinning a 26-year-old man underneath. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary findings showed no signs of foul play. The investigation continues.
Brandishing of Firearms
On Aug. 12 at 11 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Georgetown Road and Wythe Court in Woodbridge for a brandishing report. A 38-year-old man said two unknown men in a white sedan approached him and brandished firearms. He left the area and later reported the incident. The suspects were described as two Hispanic males. The investigation is ongoing.
Residential Burglary
On Aug. 12 at 8:20 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 12400 block of Maiden Creek Court in Bristow for a burglary. Overnight, someone entered the garage through a window and stole an e-bike. No suspect description was available. The investigation continues.

Fraud Reports
On Aug. 6 at 7:24 a.m., a deputy responded to a fraud report on Boulder Drive. The victim reported unauthorized transactions on their account. The bank froze the account. No suspects have been identified.
On Aug. 6 at 5:34 p.m., a deputy responded to a fraud report on Bessemer Court. The victim received invoices from Verizon for unauthorized phone lines. Legitimate Verizon could not locate the account number and advised filing a police report. The investigation is ongoing.
Vehicle Vandalism
On Aug. 6 at 11:07 a.m., a deputy responded to a vandalism report on Cornerstone Drive. The victim reported damage to the driver’s side door handle of their vehicle discovered that morning. The victim was advised to contact the Sheriff’s Office with any additional information.
