Region-Wide Transit Study Begins This Month

Gov. Robert F. McDonnell’s plan to study how to get Northern Virginia moving again on the roads, rails and other modes of transit kicks off this month with a series of five public meetings.

Dubbed the “Super NoVa” transit study in October, McDonnell said the initiative will “disregard jurisdictional boundaries in order to develop a comprehensive plan to address transit improvements necessary to move people to and from the employment centers of Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C. area.”

Residents have been invited to attend any in the series of public meetings to learn more about the study:
