It’s slated to begin at 9 p.m. Saturday, November 9, and lasting until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 10.
- The city’s water and sewer department will be working to tie-in the new 36-inch water main on Vint Hill Road between Sudley Manor Drive and Schaefer Lane.
- This overnight shut-down should not impact water service for city customers.
The water will still be drinkable during the shutdown, and residents are reminded to run their taps to clear any sediment out
- There may be a small amount of discolored water when the Water Plant goes back on-line. This can be resolved by running the cold water for a short period of time.
