STAFFORD — (Press release) The Stafford County Democratic Committee and the Fredericksburg Democratic Committee will hold a combined unassembled Caucus on April 27, 2019, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Courthouse Community Center, Room C, 29 Stafford Avenue in Stafford for the purpose of nominating a Democratic Candidate for the 28th House of Delegates District.
Those in line at 5 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
Participation is open to all Stafford and Fredericksburg Democrats registered in the 28th House of Delegates District who sign a standard Democratic declaration form.
Those wishing to be a candidate must file a Declaration of Candidacy form by 9:00 PM on April 17 with Benjamin M. Litchfield, the Nominating Committee Chairman, along with a $500.00 filing fee. The Declaration of Candidacy Form and filing instructions may be found at www.stafforddemocrats.org or may be obtained from the Nominating Committee Chairman.
