Prince William County police are thanking local partners and residents after another successful Santa Cops fundraiser and shopping event that spread holiday cheer across the community.
The annual program, run in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police Battlefield Lodge 43, local businesses, and volunteer organizations, helps provide holiday gifts and essentials to area children. The police department shared its gratitude on Facebook following the conclusion of Part II of the event.
The first part of Santa Cops took place the weekend of Dec. 6, with children enjoying a shopping experience hosted by Potomac Mills Walmart and a breakfast provided by Woodbridge Outback. Many families were pictured smiling as they chose gifts with the help of volunteers and law enforcement officers.
Part II was held Dec. 13–14 at Manassas Mall Walmart, where Santa made an appearance and more children were able to shop for holiday gifts. In its 2025 run, the program again brought “happy faces and grateful hearts” to Prince William County, thanks to contributions from local businesses, community groups like the Park West Lions Club, neighboring law enforcement agencies, and generous residents.
Police say the ongoing community support makes Santa Cops possible each year, helping ensure children in need have a joyful holiday season.
