National Museum of the Marine Corps to Reopen Following Federal Shutdown

“Our galleries, exhibits, and experiences are ready to welcome you back!” National Museum of the Marine Corps announced. “We can’t wait to see you!”

The museum will reopen to the public on Wednesday, November 13 at 9 a.m., following a federal government shutdown that temporarily closed its galleries.

Our reporting: The reopening comes just days after more than 2,000 people gathered at the museum on November 10 for a ceremony marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps, an event sponsored by the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.
