For nearly two decades, Melanie’s family has been an integral part of the Dixie Bones family. Her mother, Claudia, has gracefully managed our front-of-the-house operations since 2005, while her father, Elpidio, helps at catering events, ensuring every gathering is a memorable one.
During her high school years, Melanie herself became a familiar face in our takeout area, charming customers with her warm smile and efficient service. Despite her bustling schedule, she excelled both academically and athletically, earning a full athletic scholarship for rowing and pursuing a degree in Criminal Science at college.
But even with her studies taking her far from home, Melanie’s heart remains tied to Dixie Bones. Whenever she returns for breaks and summer vacations, you can find her gracefully gliding between tables, expertly balancing trays, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.
And if you haven’t noticed already, Melanie’s braces are gone, revealing a smile as bright as the flavors of our signature barbecue.
