Stafford County Fire and Rescue rescued a 17-year-old in a sledding accident on the 100 block of Jib Drive, off Hope Road in the eastern area of the county.
The emergency call came in a little after 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Six units participated in the operation to retrieve the individual who ended up several hundred yards down a ravine, said Stafford fire and rescue spokeswoman Katie Brady.
The victim is now receiving medical attention, and their condition is stable, said Brady.
