“As of November 1, the 10-mile Extension has enabled over 750,000 trips—with more than 16% riding for free by taking advantage of the HOV-3+ toll exemption. Evening rush hour travelers can save about 35 minutes on average by taking the Express Lanes. Travelers in the general-purpose lanes for the same trip are saving about 20 minutes on average thanks to the 66% increased capacity and reduced congestion.”
