Denise Danielle Collins

On January 3, 2021, another angel gained her wings. Denise Danielle Collins, 41, of Rock Hill, SC passed away peacefully at her parent’s home at 4:45 p.m.

Her celebration of life will be held on January 13th at 11a.m. at Mountcastle Funeral Home in Occoquan, Virginia. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there is a limited number of people allowed in attendance.
Denise was born on September 15, 1979. She graduated from Sherando High School in 1997. Throughout the years she worked various jobs while working to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Business. She married Lawrence Scott Collins on February 4, 2006.  In January of 2018 she was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma. After receiving the news that she only had 3-6 months to live, she began her battle against this horrible disease. She had an incredibly strong and unshakeable faith in God and had no question that when he called her, she would be ready. After bravely battling the disease for 3 years, the Lord decided to call her home. I am sure her Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Uncle, Aunts, cousins, and numerous beloved family pets were waiting to welcome her. Denise is loved by all who knew her and will be missed tremendously, but we know she is no longer in any pain and is with her loved ones and the Lord.
Denise is survived by her husband Scott, Stepdaughter Melissa, parents Debbie & Donny Brown, grandmothers Katherine Brown & Ann Dodson, Sister Dawn Montovio (Jonathan Montovio) as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to one of the two Churches whose congregation Denise considered family:
Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ
or
Manassas Church of Christ
