Prince William Health District

Two new coronavirus-related deaths were reported today in Prince William County by the Virginia Department of Health.

  • On average, there has been one coronavirus-related death in the past seven days.
  • The average death rate is 0.2% of the population.

Three new coronavirus hospitalizations were reported today in Prince William County.

  • The hospitalization rate per 100,000 of the county’s 465,000 people has fallen to 0.9%, with an average of four reported hospitalizations over the past seven days.

One new coronavirus-related death was reported today in Manassas.

  • On average, there have been no coronavirus-related deaths in the past seven days.
  • The average death rate is 0.3% per 100,000 people.

There is one new coronavirus-related hospitalization reported in Manassas, bringing the seven-day average hospitalization rate to zero.

  • The city has posted a seven-day hospitalization rate of 0.5% per 100,000 poeple.

Rappahannock Area Health District

One new coronavirus-related death was reported today in Fredericksburg.

  • On average, there have been no coronavirus-related deaths in the past seven days.
  • The average death rate is 1.0% per 100,000 poeple.

One new coronavirus-related hospitalization was reported today in Fredericksburg.

  • On average, there have been no coronavirus-related deaths in the past seven days.

Two new coronavirus-related hospitalizations were reported today in Stafford County.

  • The average hospitalization rate is 0.7% per 100,000 people.

Two new coronavirus-related hospitalizations were reported today in Spotsylvania County.

  • The average hospitalization rate is 0.6% per 100,000 people.

Statewide

Out of the more than eight million residents in the state, a total of 1,979 people are hospitalized with the disease, which is 0.2% of the state’s population.
