STAFFORD COUNTY — A 55-year-old woman died in a house fire overnight.
Fire and rescue crews were called to 1253 Mountain View Road for a report of a house fire at 1:04 a.m. Friday.
Crews arrived to find a house engulfed in flames, said Stafford County Fire and Rescue Chief Joseph Cardello.
The victim’s name has not been released.
A fire marshall remained on the scene as of 9 a.m. investigating the cause of the blaze.
