STAFFORD — A suspect behind a string of residential burglaries in the Crescent Pointe subdivision has been arrested by units with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 7, 2019, the Sheriff’s Office received two separate reports of home burglaries on Pilot Knob Loop. In the first incident, a resident reported that an unknown suspect had broken into her home and stolen Chinese food from the refrigerator.
Security cameras inside the home captured the suspect walking around the living room and rummaging through a purse, said Stafford sheriff’s spokeswoman Amanda Vicinanzo.
The second burglary occurred at a nearby home where a resident someone broke into her house and stole her son’s PlayStation and video games.
On May 9, 2019, a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s home and several stolen items from the burglaries, including the gaming console, were
located in the home.
Summer Davis, 26, was subsequently taken into custody on charges of burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny, and obtaining money by false pretenses, said Vicinanzo.
She was incarcerated at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
