WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) Malicious Wounding, on December 10 at 1:04AM, officers responded to El?Pulgarcito Grill located at 1306 Horner Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an?assault.
The investigation revealed that the accused, a customer, became intoxicated?and was involved in a physical altercation with two servers. During the encounter, the?accused allegedly struck one of the servers in the face then grabbed a broken glass?bottle and cut her on the wrist.
When another server attempted to intervene, the?accused assaulted her as well. At some point, the accused slipped and struck his head?causing a minor injury. The parties eventually separated, and the police were contacted.?The accused fled the restaurant prior to officers arriving.
Minor injuries were reported?by both of the servers, identified as a 26-year-old woman and a 37-year-old woman. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Yeison TRUJILLO GARCIA was located and arrested at his residence a short time later.
