PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY – (Press Release) On December 4 at 5:27PM, officers responded to the Walmart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 41-year-old woman, reported to police that she was shopping in the store when she was approached from behind by an unknown male as she was reaching down to look at some products on a self. During the encounter, the suspect inappropriately touched the victim and whispered something indecipherable into her ear. The suspect eventually left the business and no further contact was made. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 35 and 40 years of age, 6’00”, 180lbs with brown eyes and black shoulder-length cornrows
He was last seen wearing grey hoodie, black coat, green camo pants, and white shoes.
Strong-Armed Robbery – On December 5 at 12:45PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 10500 block of Dumfries Rd in Manassas (20110). The victim, an 18-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when a white van approached him and stopped. During the encounter, an occupant of the van got out and forcibly grabbed a backpack off the victim before getting back into the van, which then drove away. No injuries were reported. There is no suspect description available at this time. The investigation continues.
Vandalism to School Grounds – On December 4 at 9:45PM, a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Colgan High School located at 13833 Dumfries Rd in Manassas (20112) was notified by school staff about some concerning graffiti that was found written on a wall in one of the boy’s restrooms. A student found a swastika symbol and “KKK” written on the bathroom wall earlier that morning. The investigation revealed that the incident occurred sometime between 6:45AM and 9:30AM. The graffiti was subsequently removed by school staff.
