Montclair searched for domestic suspect

Police are still searching for a suspect in this case. 

From police: 

Malicious Wounding On September 14 at 11:13AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16200 block of Cypress Ct in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 19-year-old woman of Fredericksburg, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument which escalated. During the encounter, the accused brandished a handgun and struck her in the face causing a laceration. The accused fled prior to officers arriving in the area. A police K-9 was used to search for the accused who was not located. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.

Described as a black male, 5’5”, 125lbs with a thin build, medium complexion, short black hair, brown eyes, and a mustache

Police are searching for a man they was involved in a domestic dispute with weapons.

Here’s info from Prince William police: 

*INCIDENT | Montclair/Dumfries Area: Ref the police activity off of Cypress Ct in Dumfries (22025), officers are looking for a suspect involved in a domestic. The suspect has fled the area on foot. Local schools have been notified as a precaution.

A K9 unit was called to the area to search for the suspect. Police officers were posted in and around the search area, to include locations on Alexander Place in Montclair, and Taconic Circle and Stockbridge Drive just outside Montclair.
