Police are on the scene of a report of a suicidal person in a shopping center in Woodbridge.
Authorities believe the unidentified person may be armed with a rifle and is inside an RV parked in front of the Octopus Garden store in Potomac Shopping Plaza, according to a police spokesman.
Police are trying to determine if the person is still alive, and police are focused on the parked RV outside the shopping center.
Police used a ladder truck from a local fire department to gain access to the roof of the shopping center.
Police closed a portion of Route 1 between Occoquan Road and Mount Pleasant Way for the incident.
More as we have it.
