Terry Sharp is walking 300 miles from Summerville, N.C. to Washington, D.C. to bring awareness to the 22+ veterans that commit suicide each day. It would be nice if your paper would cover some of this. He will be in Manassas on June 19th.
Sharp’s website states he will stay Sunday night at a home on Pageland Lane in the Manassas Battlefield National Park.
Sharp has made the journey from North Carolina to the nation’s capital at least three times to raise awareness of veterans committing suicide, according to his website. He’s scheduled to arrive in Washington, D.C. on June 22.
