A homeowner shot and killed two dogs in Gainesville today.
Police were called to a home in the 8800 block of Brown Thrasher Court at 11:15 a.m.
Two mixed German Shepherds walked onto a property of the shooter and attacked a Pinscher and a Rottweiler, according to Prince William police spokesman Nathan Probus.
A handgun was used to shoot the dogs, according to initial reports.
An investigation is ongoing. More as we have it.
