Missing woman’s car found near Woodbridge workplace

Lizeth Lopez was reported to police missing on Tuesday, April 19. Police said Lopez’s car was found near her workplace in Woodbridge. 

Investigators will not yet say where Lopez works. 

Police are in need of information to help them in their search for the missing woman. Here’s more in press release: 

*UPDATE: The Prince William County Police Department is still seeking any information on the whereabouts of Lizeth Yadira Lopez who was reported as missing and endangered last week by family members. Ms. Lopez was originally reported missing to the Alexandria City Police Department on April 19. After her vehicle was located near her place of employment in Woodbridge on April 20, the case was turned over to Prince William County Police.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Ms. Lopez exited the CVS store located on Touchtone Cir around 9:00PM on April 17. There has been no known contact with Ms. Lopez after 10:00PM on the night of April 17.

On April 22, members of the Prince William County Police and Fairfax County Police Search and Rescue Teams, in addition to, helicopter assistance from Fairfax County Police and canines from the Fairfax County Fire Department and Virginia State Police aided in a ground search near Ms. Lopez’s work on Pond Run Dr in Woodbridge. After an extensive search of the wooded areas near that location nothing of note was found. Prince William County Police are continuing to ask for the public’s help in providing any information on the whereabouts of Ms. Lopez.
