A Honda Accord parked at a 7-Eleven store at 4800 Dale Boulevard rolled backward, out of a parking lot and into a ditch.
Police and fire and rescue crews were called to the crash near the intersection of Dale Boulevard and Delaney Road about 2:30 p.m. A woman was taken to a local hospital suffering minor injuries.
Police said the woman parked the car at the convenience store, but the car began rolling backward. The woman tried to get back into the car to stop it from rolling but was unsuccessful, according to police.
A wrecker was called to remove the car from the median of Dale Boulevard.
