Prince William officers injured in shooting return for roll call

Prince William County Police Officer David McKeown, recently released from a hospital, and Officer Jessie Hempen both attended role call with fellow officers today.

McKeown and Hempen were both shot in the line of duty on February 27 while responding to a domestic incident turned shooting in Dale City. Prince William County Police Officer Ashley Guindon, 28, and Crystal Sheree Hamilton, 29, were killed.

Hempen was released from a hospital earlier this month.

Also in ceremony today, Prince William police removed black ribbons from their badges and banners draped at police stations in remembrance of Guindon.

Crystal Williams is the wife of Ronald Williams, 33, who now faces murder charges in the death of his wife and Guindon.
