One man became trapped underneath of a medical transport van today in Woodbridge.
Two vans from a medical transport company stopped to pick up a patient on Hobson’s Choice Loop, near Forest Park High School. One of the vans parked in front of the other rolled back into the second van.
Two employees of the medical transport company, who were driving the vans, were injured. One became trapped underneath the van and was later freed by Prince William fire and rescue crews, and was taken to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, according to fire and rescue officials on the scene.
A second mad was struck by the van and suffered abdominal injuries. He was flown to local hospital.
Police are investigating what led to the van rolling backward.
