Brush fire breaks out in Woodbridge, Red Flag warning issued

A brush fire consumed about two acres of land in Woodbridge.

Fire crews were called to Omisol Road, and to Oakwood Drive about 11 a.m. Thursday. Residents reported smelling smoke underneath a power line.

Smoke could be seen billowing from an area just north of Omisol Road. Multiple brush fire trucks were called to the scene to douse the blaze.

Fire and rescue crews reported no injuries or property damage.

The power line traverses a plot of land between Omisol Road and Oakwood Drive.
