Argument leads to shots fired in Woodbridge neighborhood

Police said shots were fired into an unoccupied vehicle in a Woodbridge neighborhood.

Here’s the latest: 

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On November 10th at 12:19AM, officers responded to the area of Old Coach Rd and Old Kings Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The victim, a 29 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with four unknown males which escalated.

During the encounter, one of the suspects retrieved a firearm and fired multiple rounds into the victim’s unoccupied vehicle. The suspects then left the area in a blue BMW X5. Officers located several shell casings in the area. No injuries or further property damage were reported. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
