A woman and her family were robbed at gunpoint in the early hours of Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015.
The robbers made off with the family car.

Armed Robbery | Grand Larceny Auto – On October 29th at 6:49AM, officers responded to the 15100 block of Valley Stream Dr in Woodbridge(22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 41 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was leaving her residence with several family members when she was approached by two unknown men armed with a firearm and a knife. During the encounter, the men forced the victim into her residence and demanded the keys to a vehicle. The men then took the vehicle and fled the area. The vehicle was later recovered by officers unoccupied. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the surrounding area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.
