Man Suspected of Brandishing Firearm Arrested in Manassas This Morning

Barricaded suspect arrested in Manassas 

 

A man suspected of brandishing a firearm on Tuesday was arrested this morning in Manassas.

Police made the arrest at 9352 Scarlett Oak Drive, just off Prince William Street in Downtown Manassas at 5:50 a.m., after the suspect had barricaded himself inside a house, said Manassas police spokeswoman Adrienne Helms.

Jerome Arrington, 45, is charged in connection to the incident. Street closures in the area of the arrest have been lifted and traffic is moving normally once again, according to helms.
