MANASSAS, Va. – On August 31, police stopped a car in the area with the suspect inside. Police then arrested the suspect after discovering that he was driving under the influence and with four children between the ages of 13 months and 13-years-old in the back.

Felony Child Neglect | Driving under the Influence – On August 31st at 8:05PM, officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Notes Dr and Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109). During the encounter officers identified the driver as the accused and determined he was under the influence. As a result, the accused was arrested. At the time of the traffic stop, four children between 13 months and 13 years of age were located in the vehicle. The children were unharmed and released to a guardian.

Charged with 4 counts of felony child neglect, 1 count of driving under the influence and 1 count of driving without a license
