2 Teens Chased, Police Say

MANASSAS, Va. — Two teens walking on Confederate Trail got some unwanted attention from four men who chased them, police said.

Assault by Mob

On August 30, 2014 Manassas City Police met with a resident for a report of an assault involving multiple individuals. The reporting party told officers that at approximately 6:00PM, two juvenile male victims (16yo and 17yo) were walking in the area of Confederate Trail when they were approached by two black males on foot who began to antagonize them.

The suspects, joined by two additional suspects who had been sitting in a car nearby, became increasingly confrontational with the two victims before chasing them to the rear of the residences of McClellan Cmn.

The victims told officers they were struck several times and sustained non-life-threatening injuries before escaping on foot to their residence. At no time did the suspects demand money or display weapons to the victims. This is an ongoing investigation.

Description of suspects:

1) Dark-skinned black male, 15-17yo, 5’02”-5’04”, 130-150lbs. Short black hair, clean-shaven facial hair, wearing a plastic rosary around his neck, black shorts, a black t-shirt, black shorts, and dark sneakers, no visible tattoos

2) Dark-skinned black male, 15-17yo, 5’11”-6’1”, 130-150lbs. Medium-length hair, clean-shaven facial hair, wearing a black shirt, no visible tattoos

3) Light-skinned black male, 20-25yo, 6’0”-6’04”, medium build. Wearing a white, short-sleeved shirt, tattoos on both arms. Passenger of suspect vehicle

4) Black male, 20-25yo. Short-sleeved shirt, tattoos on both arms. Driver of suspect vehicle
