HAYMARKET, Va. – On August 17, a homeowner told police that someone tried to enter the home and damaged a back patio door. According to reports, entry was not made and nothing was stolen.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 17th at 9:19AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 135100 block of Stepping Stone Dr in Haymarket (20169) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 11:30PM on August 16th and 7:30AM on August 17th, entry was attempted into the residence through a rear patio door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
