MANASSAS, Va. - On August 8, a homeowner told police that an intruder entered their apartment and stole a handgun worth around $500.

Residential Burglary – On August 8th at 8:00AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 10900 block of Wild Ginger Cir in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on August 6th and 8:00AM on August 8th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A handgun, valued around $500, was reported missing.
