Nettie Elizabeth Cramer, 94, of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
Born September 1, 1918 to the late Elijah and Virginia Shiflet, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Cramer, and the loving mother of the late James Ralph (Claudia).
She was preceded in death by her brothers Arthur, Lawrence and Donald Shiflet, and her sister Mildred Comstock.
She leaves behind six children to cherish her memory–Joseph Arthur (Nancy), Donna Jeanne (John Woods), John Lawrence (Joannie), Jerry Lewis and Jeffrey Earl Cramer and Betty Jo Thompson (Henry). In addition she will be missed by her fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and her dear sister-in-law Betty Kremer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
She married her husband, Joe, March 9, 1940 in Fredericksburg and lived in Stafford County for 63 years.
Per her request, services are private.
