WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A man was hit with a tire iron over the weekend, and now a woman faces charges.
The assault happened in the 2100 block of Culpeper Drive in Woodbridge at 6:02 p.m. Saturday. The 26-year-old victim said he and the suspect were involved in argument, and then the suspect went to her car, pulled out a tire iron, and then struck the victim in the head with it, according to a police report.
The suspect fled the area but was later found and arrested. The victim suffered injuries that did not appear to be life threatening.
Phillis Denice Lindsay, 23, of 13940 Longwood Manor Court in Woodbridge, is charged with malicious wounding and domestic assault and battery, police said.
She was held without and her court date was not released.
