Manassas Man Wanted after Woman Strangled

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Police said a Manassas man kicked in a door, went inside a home, and then strangled a woman. The suspect remains on the loose.

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery | Residential Burglary – On March 13th at 10:40PM, police responded to the 13600 block of Langtree Ln in Woodbridge (22193) for a domestic. The victim, a 31 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, came to her residence and kicked open the front door. Once inside the residence, the accused chased the victim to a bedroom. A physical altercation ensued and, at one point, the accused began to choke and further assault the victim. The victim was able to contact police and the accused fled on foot. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
